I was wondering wouldn’t be nice to have an option to turn on the away mode if not connected to a specific wifi network (you home network) in stead of geo fencing (and draing your phone)?

You can switch your mode to away even when not connected to you home wifi. This is provided you have admin access to the account on your phone.
Heck I had to chang my settings when I was out of state 3000 miles away. Everyone had left in a rush but forgot the inlaw was checking in on the place and she kept setting the sirens off. So while I was in New York for a funeral I was able to disable the sirens via the mode it was in and all was well.
This would be so good. Simpler and more effective than geofencing. 2 iPhones at our place, the system often thinks we’re away when at least one at home.
Surely they’ll knows if it’s on the home wifi network.
