Always keep a rolling buffer of video. If a person wants to stream the video, start live, but if they hit the record button, the recording starts 10 seconds before the button was pressed. This allows the user to capture moments that otherwise would be missed.

This is especially important for detection events; Especially at night I get a lot of videos of people walking out of the frame but missed them getting in the frame. The prerecord buffer solves this.
