Camera notifications not working with indoor cam in HomeKit

Eufy just added HomeKit support for their indoor cam. Push notifications for the camera are not working in HomeKit. HomeKit secure video is working and properly detecting people but I do not receive notifications. Is anyone else having this issue? Is this a bug that needs to be addressed? Or does somebody know how to fix this?

I’ve already confirmed that Camera notifications are turned on with in HomeKit as well as notifications being turned on for the Home app. I don’t know what else I could be missing but the feature is not working.

For me, the messages don’t work properly either. They work very delayed when a clip is recorded. If I choose to have a message for every activity, it works immediately.
