Rather then setting activity zones it would be nice to set an ignore zone or to recognize an object that is always in the area and allow you to set it to ignore it.

I have activity zones set up that are well away from a coat rack in my living room and still get alarm messaged saying a “person has been spotted” for it constantly.

I have one of the pan and scan cameras.

Activity zones don’t work well for me either. I think some cameras have an ignores zone?
When you’re watching the video of the “person has been spotted” do you have the option tab to Mark it, located on the bottom of the screen?
It lets you set it as a False-Triggered event and therefore will ignore it.
