Hi, is there anything you can do to have a clear site of number plates at night? At night number plates are white, was thinking this might be important incase you need to identify a car due to security reasons
There’s not much that can be done, vehicle license plates are somewhat reflective. The IR nightvision will illuminate the license plates to a white blur.
If you have enough lighting outside, you may want to consider turning off nightvision so that the camera will record in color.
The exact steps I took. I have a powerful floodlight that when triggered shows everything in colour and I don’t have any LEDs showing on camera so it doesn’t stand out and let any unsavourys know they are being recorded. Really helps with reg plates and clothing description.
