Why will the doorbell not.connect to my phone when someone calls. I get the notification on the phone but the livefeed does not connect. It says preparing to play but never connects. Pretty useless to speak with any callers when I am not home. On a 4g or wireless network with strong signal.
Sounds like an issue between your router and doorbell or homebase and the internet
- Reboot your router.
- check if you can access the doorbell live feed from the Eufy web portal.
If the web portal works then the connection leaving our router is working. Possible phone setting or mobile provider issue.
If the web portal can’t see the live view then something is blocking or restricting the stream up from your router to the internet. Use speed test to see what the Upstream connection reads.
