If you keep looking at the live feed on a device , does it use more battery or not?

Yes! Anytime any battery camera is active, it will use battery power. My doorbell drains 1% per day with about 10-15 recordings, 8-18 seconds each recording and I check live feed maybe around 4 times a day no longer than 10 seconds each time. Hope that helps.
