Eufy 2k battery doorbell + transformer 30v

Hi
I have Eufy 2k doorbell battery but wanted to connect it to my transformer, its 24v and 10VA. But today I tested it with my multimeter and output is 30V I connected it to my Eufy for 1min and output still 30V. Eufy app shows that it is connected and charging but Im afraid because it should be according to Eufy 8-24V. What do you think? Can 30V output damage doorbell?

Thanks for help

30v shouldn’t make a difference in the charging aspect or danger side of things but if you’re concerned, try switching the transformer out. If the voltage on the line side of the transformer is higher, then it will be higher on the transformer as well. Ie: 120v will output 24v but if you have 128v then the output will be higher then 24v on the transformer. If you have 120-123v then you should still should be outputting around 24v, if this is not the case then you should switch out your doorbell transformer.
