How does the facial recognition function work? Because we have many security guards walking around our house and every time we get so many notifications that someone has been detected… We have 3 EufyCam 2 pro

It is human detection with the ability to show faces.
If you’re after excluding people from triggering a notification, you need the first gen eufycam for that.
There is no facial recognition on the eufycam 2 (Pro).

Are you serious? They’re going for a paid subscription to recognise faces? That’s really sad… It was their selling point to require no subscription at all, for all functionality.

If you haven’t seen by the large amount of negative and mixed comments. They are simply focused on two things. One growing the brand and international market growth and 2 profits.

No. They won’t trip unless it set to all motions.
Obviously thing have moved on a bit since this topic was first started. However i still don’t see the use of facal recognition. Apart from letting you know who triggered the motion detection. It seems just a gimmick. The setting in the new homebase 3 to not send notifications for recognized faces could be useful if it worked.
