I realize Eufy push the Firmware update in background without notification to user.
I sometimes unplug my Eufy. This push update without notification is going to brick the cam if I unplug cam unknowingly Eufy is updating firmware in the background.

In the app the camera states a firmware update is in progress.

Though remote, but possible happen
Storm cut off power, while Eufy pushing firmware. Eufy does not know the condition.
my point is put back a button allow user to control tge firmware update.

My better half doesn’t pay attention to the app if she decides it’s time to move stuff around so Christmas fits better, unfortunately.
It’s a crapshoot, but being able to decide when to install updates make absolute sense.
