Is signal strength related to battery charge?

I have two Eufycams mounted opposite each other at the same height and 1.5 metres apart. Both cameras are exactly the same distance from the homebase. One camera has full signal strength and the battery is charged to 90%. The other camera has half signal strength and the battery is charged to 50%. Is signal strength related to the battery charge?

Did read some where it does effect the battery. If one is draining faster possibly because of the signal could try swap them around see if the other one is effected.

There is no way the battery will last for a year without a charge as they claim

Nope. We have to charge iurs on average every two months give our take.

Signal strength shouldn’t be effected by battery charge until one gets down close to being depleted. Its far more likely that one camera or some other source is interfering with the other device. I’d move the cameras farther apart and see if it changes anything. Or, as @Jon74 said, swap positions. Its far more likely that one camera that has lower signal strength because of interference, which could trigger re-transmitting the same data thus causing more battery drain.

OF course, ignore the part where they said dependent on the activity of the area.
