I just purchased and installed the eufySecurity Doorbell T8201. Everything works great and setup was very easy but the Mechanical Chime from the house does not work. What size transformer is required to provide enough power for both the Doorbell cam and the Chime?
You cannot use the existing chime with the Wired doorbell that you have. The existing chime will limit the current and requires an internal switch in the doorbell to actuate the chime.
It will work with the battery doorbell because the batteries provide power and the input terminals have a triac switch that will actuate the chime.
