No kidding. Right.?!
Doesn’t matter what you do.
Texh support will say one thing. Manual in app says another. Then the next support person says different than both.
Just try different spots. You’ll find what works best.

Wanted to get vehicles going up my drive and the front yard. Got a 2 cam system and found the perfect spots to cover what I wanted… at least in live view they were perfect mounting spots.
Total FAIL on motion detection.
Took a long time to figure out what the cams wanted from me… not the other way around
