One of the many pitfalls of the existing Eufy CCTV system is its vulnerability to Wi-Fi. Instead of introducing cameras which incorporate 4G Eufy should look to incorporate 4G as a backup mesh network to Wi-Fi within the homebase. I havr tried using a 4G router by way of resilience, but the flaky app does not enable you to prioritise connections. This is once again a waste of everybody’s time and money. I find it so frustrating that we offer feedback, myself as a myself as a security consultant for free(!) and it is totally ignored. This is not a security system given the number of vulnerabilities and hence why I am moving away from eufy.
