The HomeBase 2 and 4 cameras seem to work but the app is worthless. Motion in house sets off cheap sounding sirens and sends a notification to my phone, but no sound. What good is that? The whole idea of a camera based security system is to let you know when someone is in your house when you are away, but if there’s no sound, how do you know the cameras were triggered? Yes, I have everything configured correctly, yes all the permissions are set and working. I do get the notification, just no sound. My other apps with notifications produce a notify sound. Preparing to box this expensive but useless “security” system up for return. Complete waste of my research time and money. I’m really disappointed.
