Option 1: The sidebar on the left is the category selection, and on the right-hand shows the device list. When you select a device if it needs to be scanned the QR code and it will access the scan page directly. If not, it will skip the scan page.
Option 2: All devices are categorized by cards as shown above. When you select a product, if all devices under this card need to scan the QR code, it will access the scan page. If not all devices under this card need to scan the QR code, it will popup an option for you to select.

I believe they are trying to simplify the products in a more refined way. Think of it like indoor cameras will fall in that tab. Outdoor cameras in another tab etc. Think of it like they want you the consumer to have the Apple like experience with a eufy product.
With Option 2 we might lose the possibility to see upcoming products. So many already leaked because thankfully you updated the “add”-page before the product was released.
Are we missing a trick here. If all the devices have a QR code or simple input code (they dont btw) would it not simply be a case of add device going to a scan / enter code workflow and then the system knowing what device you were adding?
