I have the doorbell and 2 cameras which are fantastic at starting to recorded well after the trigger event, or at best the backs of people as they walk away along a fair driveway that’s being monitored. I’ve played with every setting but can’t seem to improve things.
Is this to be expected?
I’ve noticed that you can set these cameras up to watch a fairly big area but they only start recording when there is motion close enough to detect which I’ve found on my tests that Eufy cameras can only detect motion up to 12 feet away from the camera. Any activity further than 12 feet away will not trigger the camera to start recording.
Eufy’s motion detection is quite poor IMO.
