Battery Doorbell not connecting to Google Home/Hub

Hi,

I’ve just set up my new battery video doorbell and it is working fine on the Eufy Security app. However when I try to connect to my Google Home/Hub it just won’t work? I attempt to add, it asks for my username and password and then asks for a 6 digit 2FA. I got this by enabling 2fa on the Eufy app but when I enter that (or any other 6 digits) it just goes to a blank screen?

Hi there,

same here. I just got my Doorbell yesterday and struggled ALOT to get it linked to Google Home.

Here is how I succeed in it:
-uninstall Eufy Security App (the latest 4.0 is CRAP)
-found an older apk installation file of Eufy Security (3.5 will be just fine). I d/l it from apkfun
-install the older Eufy Security 3.5
-add your devices to the app
-link it to Google Home
Working!
(optional) update Eufy Security to 4.0, you won’t loose the link to Google Home

good luck

I have the same problem

You’ve got a link?

Oke it worked for me.

I deleted the 4.0 app

Googled the eufy security 3.5 apk app and downloaden and installed it.

After I logged in I connect to the Google home app and now it works.

I upgraded it to 4.0 and it still works!

Still not working unfortunately.

Tried connecting on Google Home which brings me to this page:

Fields are filled in but when I enter the 6 digits for 2FA, the screen goes blank :man_shrugging:t5:

I removed the app 4.0 from my phone.

I downloaded a older version (3.5)
Here is the URL with I used:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/anker/eufy-security/eufy-security-v1-3-5_285-release/

After I installed and logged in I go to Google Home and register my eufy security.

After the 6diget pin for me the older version accepted it for my.

After that I upgraded again to the 4.0 update and it still works.

Let me know if it worked for you!
