I have been trying to set up a routine in my alexa app that would be triggered when my outdoor camara detects motion. The skill runs in the alexa app the camaras are loaded on Alexa with the euffy skill enabled but it will not trigger the routine, cams working in alexa etc. Any thoughts.

Contacted eufy about this, this was their reply…
Upon further analysis of our specialist, I have just been informed that eufy cam 2c is unable to trigger routines in Alexa currently. Also, the notification feature in the Alexa has been paused since it remains highly volatile to trigger/alert. For a better user experience, our engineer team is now working on this issue and try to optimize it with a firmware upgrade in the future. But now it’s still too early to say yes or no to the integration. Please stay tuned for our latest news. In your case, it is recommended to use our eufy security app to trigger routines and push notifications.

As of this morning, my routines are now being triggered! Yay!
