Eufy Electric Doorbell - Power Requirements & Transformer UK

I have installed a Eufy Electric doorbell, using a Bell Transformer 12v-24v Rated 8VA.

I get a message “Preparing to Play” especially when I activate microphone to talk to people outside. The wi-fi signal is excellent. So only thing I can think of is not enough power going to the unit.

Anyone help with this issue. As many of the notifications do not record the video.

Please help??

The spec for the transformer is 16-24 vac and 30 VA. Your current transformer has less than 30% of the needed current capacity. Don’t know if that’s your only problem, but its a good place to start.
