Does anyone know if connecting the HomeBase 2 via ethernet will increase the motion/camera response time on the battery doorbell camera? Better Alexa connection? Is there any real advantage to connecting the HomeBase via ethernet? I have a WiFi mesh system in my home with a solid 1gb internet connection. Thoughts?

Would expect ethernet to be faster, as latency is typically much lower compared to wifi. You might be looking at 1 to 2ms between base and router over ethernet, or 15 to 40ms on wifi at a guess. This is minimal, but it can mount up with multiple i/o requests.
