The new indoor cam 2k has just been released on uk amazon. Can it be used through the window?

I’m sure I read some where it could be.

You’ll need to disable the IR sensor if you are pointing out the window. It should work.

Yes it can, just make sure you turn of the IRs on it. I am amazed at how good the video actually is. At night the picture is actually better then the Arlo Pro 3’s I have and with seems to do color even at night with the IR imitters turned off.

I uses pixel based detection so yes it will detect motion even through a window.

Pixel base detection. That’s good to hear. Maybe less detection problems then their other camera then.
