Poor quality IR night vision in wet conditions

So happy with my 2C unit but after 2 days IR vision on wet nights is terrible. All seals are intact

Is this an inherent problem?? I hear others with the same issue???

Has IR vision returned to normal under dry conditions? If the image quality is down just on wet nights then that could be due to moisture on the IR sender or lens cover or just because IR will have problems with water droplets in the air.

One good thing about the 2c… you have spotlights. I set mine to spotlight mode in fog or condensation on the lens. Does cut thru a bit better. On my 2 pro cams I turn off night vision completely and use motion lights. Best I can do.

I live in Seattle… always a struggle. ( on any affordable camera )
