We really need some possibility to integrate this (camera stuff) seamlessly in our existing smart home systems (in this jungle of different systems). So at least something like MQTT would be an universal standard to start with…
Besides feel free to open an API for developers for a bit more in deep integration.

I agree, fingers crossed someone from eufy actually reads our requests for local mqtt, ifttt or local API access. I know I would buy more eufy products if this was the case.
If you have a rasp pi and some technical skills (or spare time like me) you could take a look at this client, eufy node client. I was able to make a python Flask app to change the security modes of my Eufy2C with homebase2 via webcore’s get web request.
