Hi there, my Eufy 2 doesn’t seem to save footage when I’m viewing it live. But will save it after the event. Is there a way to enable saving while watching live?

When you’re watching live view there is an icon towards the bottom left of the screen that looks like a camera tap on that to record.

Open the eufySecurity App.

Click to play the live view.

Tap the
“Record Video” button on the live view page to record videos manually. -
Stop the recording and the video clip will be saved to your phone album. If videos haven’t been found in the album, please check if you can find the video on your file manager in the video category.

@jd164 has covered most everything to answer your question except the fact that if you are viewing live, the event won’t be saved. Eufy only allows either live view or event recording. Not both.
Using the “Record Video” function is the is the only way to save the clip when you are viewing live.
