any update on when solar panel will be release for 2c?
What are the requirements so we could use another brand solar panel?
I seen one for sale on eBay just type in eufy and you will find one

I found one on Amazon, too ($40 each). Given the long battery life, I would reason the solar panel needs to provide a trickle of charge to keep the cameras ready.

$11, works like a charm on a 2c.
My concern would be how does this affect the max of 300 re-charge cycles the 2c battery supports?
Good luck with getting an official answer to that, the silence will be deafening.
My plan was to cover up the panel or even unplug it when the battery got to say 30%, but I boxed the cams up and sent them back instead.

I just saw an update to my eufy Cam Home base to support a eufy Solar panel, so maybe more details are coming.

Seems like the Eufy will be coming out with their own solar panels soon. Details have be scarce so it’d be real nice if someone from Eufy can chime and to provide an update. Thanks!

There is a new option under power manager for solar panel. I wonder if that will work for third party panels too?
My cams are fully charged as I type this. Seems to work better thanks to the new update.

Make sure good IP67 rubber boot link into back of cameras please. Already had a EufyPro2 port corrode on a camera after just 4 months
Not currently showing up on Amazon UK/USA or EUFY store.

Did it corrode from it’s own boot or did you have a solar panel connected?
It does work with 3rd party. I bought a Wasserstein 3-pack solar panels and they charged my 3 EufyCam 2C in like 30min to 100%. However I’m in Arizona. I bought them directly from Wasserstein and with the sale and all the coupons they came at $26/panel to my door. I think you can get them from Amazon too but only up to a 2-pack. Directly from Wasserstein you can get up to a 3-pack with no tax and free shipping and they come in black or white (I got the white ones to match the 2C; plus here in AZ anything white reflects better and lasts longer than black). Very happy with them not needing to ever go up there to charge the cameras.
