I am new to Eufy and recently purchased the Eufy 2K doorbell with a homebase. I have also purchased the mains powered eufy chime.
I had hoped to use the chime in the hallway to act as just a chime whilst the homebase acts as the hub for recording content.
It doesn’t seem to support this function as I will need to pair the doorbell with the chime and in doing so will unpair it from the homebase.
Would anyone be able to confirm if I can or cannot use the chime as just a plain ol chime. or will i have to hardwire a third party bell to the doorbell to get this functionality?
