When disarmed, cam should rotate 180 to face wall

When disarmed mode or deactivated , cam should cover lens by going up and also rotate 180 to hide lens and face the wall.
Easier to see it is disarmed disabled from far away than just the lens going up and showing sd card

I’d want people to think it’s armed 24/7 as a deterrent.

I like the idea - so people will know they aren’t being watched.

You can also manually tip it over or something. But rotating would be cool.

@fra946 Are you referring to the indoor cam? If you turn off the camera under settings, the lens automatically points up and is unable to “see” anything.

Was thinking about some bright nail polish near the sd card so it’s easy to tell from a distance that it’s off.

Although it may be a nice function, I wonder how that will affect the seal over the recharging port. In the short term, it should be good. Wonder how it will affect it after a specific amount of time in the weather.

Love this idea. I would prefer option to have the lens rotate back when in HOME mode and then back forward in AWAY mode. I don’t need it recording when I’m home and like the privacy this idea affords. Otherwise, it’s always live and pointed at you.
